Gentlemen:-

I regret that the pressure of many matters has been prevented earlier examination of the etching[[strikethrough]] s [[/strikethrough]] by Whistler, sent me a few days ago, and referring to your letter of October 16th, I shall be glad to keep the print and would be pleased to receive an invoice for the same. What is the price of the engraved portrait of George W. Whistler which you sent along with the etching[[strikethrough]] s [[/strikethrough]]? My collection contains the original drawing from which it was made.

Kindly present to Mr. Keppel my compliments and best thanks for the two photographs he so generously sent.

Yours very truly,
Charles L. Freer
