Dear Mr. North:-
Your kind letter of November 1st came during a time when I was too busily engaged to give prompt answer. Forgive this late reply.

The "Masterpieces of Greek Sculpture" mentioned in your letter is a fine work and I would be glad to have you ship me the book at your convenience.

George Moore's book is impossible. His attack is unforgivable. Someone should give him the thorough kicking he deserves.

Hoping you are quite well, I remain,
Very truly yours,
