V. G. Fischer, Esq.,
527 - 15th St.,
Washington, D. C.

My dear Mr. Fischer:-

Your good letter of the 5th instant, accompanied by a copy of the circular prospectus for the Second Exhibition of Contemporary American Oil Paintings to be held at the Corcoran Gallery next Winter, is received. I appreciate your letter and have read with interest the printed circular. I am glad to see that the conditions of last year, to which I properly objected, have been eliminated from this year's circular.

I hope the Exhibition under the new rules will meet your highest expectations, and I will gladly co-operate to the extent of my ability.

I shall be in Washington again within a day or two, and shall then give myself the pleasure of calling on you, and then we can discuss the matter more fully.

Believe me, with kind regards,

Yours very sincerely,
Charles L Freer
