Dear Mr. Freer;-

I have your letter of the 11th instant, and wired you as follows, to-day; after talking with Mr. Lindsley Russell.

Mr. Russell will call meeting Japan Society rooms Tuesday the ninteenth, one oclock [[o'clock]] luncheon, which I hope will be agreeable to you.

Mr. Russell will also notify the other members of the Committee, and will arrange for luncheon at the Society's rooms, and endeavor to get together such further information as is possible from Mr. Witherspoon.
