Dear Mr. Freer:
I am in receipt of the enclosed note from Mr. Moore, which will "tell its own story." Will be glad to get your permission to show this, if it is your pleasure.
I am glad to hear of your being in a more agreeable climate than this, where we are having pretty cold weather, and at the present time a heavy snowstorm. Think we had about either or ten inches of snow last night, and it is still snowing.
Miss Perry and "your humble servant" were in the Museum last week, and saw the Main Ship Bronze for the first time, which reminded us of the little vase that we glazed for you, and happened to mention it to Mr. Moore, who said he would like to have it at the Museum for a short time. We dropped the subject there, not knowing whether you would care to have it exhibited or not, and later we received the enclosed note.
We will be glad to get your verdict to pass on to Mr. Moore.
Miss Perry's health is improving quite a good deal, although she is not able to give pottery affairs any attention yet. However, we hope to see her handiwork again in the near future.
With kindest regards and good wishes for your health, I beg to remain,
Very sincerely yours,
H.J. Caulkino
