Gentlemen-

Mr. Freer was called east for several days absence before the receipt yesterday morning of your cablegram, reading " Yes, please return drawings."  Accordingly, we are shipping to you, via. American Express,a box containing nine drawings by Mr. Whistler, which Mr. Freer did not keep, namely:

Portrait of himself,
Lady asleep in a chair,
Whistler's studio,
Dressmaker's shop,
Girl seated on the arm of a chair,
Hastings - oblong,
Hastings - upright,
Hastings - fishing boats,
Hastings - old town.

he having kept the four following drawings:

Florence & Fannie Leyland,
Mrs. Leyland standing,holding fan,
Mrs. Leyland standing,holding book,
Mrs. Leyland standing head turned to front.
