The following mail matter was received to-day.

No. 29 letter postmarked, Philadelphia,
No. 30 letter from The Caxton Club, Chicago,
No. 31 letter from Miss Nordlinger,
No. 32 letter from The Marion Press,
No. 33 letter from The Phoenix Candle Co., 
No. 34 clippings from Henry Pomeike,
No. 35 letter from Avery & Compnay, Peoria,
No. 36 printed matter from Ernest Dressel North.

There were also received, an invoice from Kelekian for a Racca jug, and notification of a shipment on the 10th, from Yamanaka, of ten boxes.

Also received from The Corcoran Gallery, a catalogue of the current exhibition, and one of the Saint Gardens memorial exhibition.

The painting "Stevie Manuel " has been cleared through the customs and, while I write, is on its way up to your house.

Allison's office was mistaken about the card-board being received in town - it has not yet arrived.  Both the painting and the card-board came by the S. S. Arabic, the painting by express and the card-board M.D.T. so I suppose the card-board is a little slower coming from New York, but I hope it will be here Monday.

Mr. Charles Moore telephoned me this morning, asking if some friends of his, Mr. and Mrs. Borden of Boston, father and
