Dear Mr. Freer- This morning, I received your telegram sent last night from New York, saying, that you would go to Washington this afternoon and remain there until Wednesday. The enclosed cablegram from Miss Birnie Philip, was also received this morning and I immediately repeated its contents to you at the Plaza. To-day's mail brought the following: No. 37 letter from Miss Birnie Philip, No. 38 letter from Parke, Pavis & Company, London, No. 39 letter postmarked Minneapolis, No. 40 letter postmarked Detroit, No. 41 letter postmarked Buffalo, No. 42 letter postmarked Detroit, No. 43 letter from Azeek Khayat, New York, No. 44 printed matter from The Players, New York, No. 45 postal card from The Buffalo Fine Arts Academy, No. 46 clippings from Henry Romeike, There was also received from Yamanaka a postal card notification of the shipment, by express, on the 11th, inst., of one box. Miss Perry of the Pewabic Pottery, called me up by phone Saturday afternoon and said, that Mr. Robineau of Syracuse, N. Y. was in town and should leave to-day. She said, that sometime ago she got a tentative premise from you that he might see the collection, in view of which, I thought it all right to let them go to the house, so yesterday afternoon, Miss Perry, Mr. and Mrs. Caulkins, of the Pottery, and Mr. and Mrs.Robineau, called at the house and spent about an hour. Everything quiet here. Very truly yours, JM Kennedy
