Dear Mrs. Rountree,
Your letter of the 17th of this month, is received and noted. I am sorry you could not have arranged matters so as to have come to Detroit sometime during the present week. Next week, I regret to say, the collections will not be open, because of necessary work which will be going on at that time. I hope, however, sometime in the future when you are in this vicinity, you will let me know, when I will try to arrange a time convenient to both for showing the collections.
Believe me,
Very respectfully yours,
Charles L. Freer
