My dear Doctor Allen:-

I have your kind letter of yesterday, enclosing M. dePlancy's letter to you, dated January 12th, also the list of his Korean collection. I am keeping the latter for consideration over Sunday, when I shall have time to look into it carefully, while his letter to you, I am returning herewith.

I appreciate, very much, your courtesy in bringing me in touch with this interesting collection, and while I cannot on so short notice give definite decision concerning its purchase, I wish to consider it most carefully.

I am sorry to say, that I cannot put my hands upon the review by Mr. Brady of your book entitled "Things Korean " but, it may be at my house along with an accumulation which a pressure of many matters has thus far prevented my reading - I hope, however, to find it,and also to soon read " Things Korean " I am sure, that the latter will be of much interest to me.

Am still hoping ere long, to have the pleasure of meeting you in Toledo; of seeing your collection, and of discussing Korean Art with you.

I shall write you again, ere long concerning the dePlancy collection.

Believe me,
Very sincerely yours,
Charles L Freer
