Dear Sir:-
Your letter of the 15th, inst., is received and along with it your invoice for the small Persian Vase. It affords me pleasure to enclose my check for $500.00, in settlement thereof. Kindly receipt and return voucher at your convenience.

The catalogue of your present exhibition of Textiles and Faience was also received, but, I fear, I shall find it impossible to visit New York in time to see the exhibition.

I note your remarks concerning the large Rakka Tabourette and Ink Well, and while I feel that I understand pretty well the quality of these two fine examples, I am satisfied, that I do not know them well enough to determine, whether or not, to buy them, without further examination, consequently, I am inclined to accept your proposal to send the two pieces on for more careful examination. Please have them marked very carefully and shipped to my address (as above) by American Express, and shortly after their receipt I shall be able to let you know definitely whether or not, I care to purchase the two specimens at the price named.

Believe me,
Very sincerely yours,
Charles L Freer
