Genl Hd Into Bu R.F & A.L Galveston Sir I have the honor to return the Euclace papers in the case of freedman John Leagueres McCamber with the information that the "Indian No 2". left this place for Galverton on Wednesday 27" inst--No doubt McCamber is now in Galverton. When the "Indian No2" arrived here (on Tuesday the 26") complaint was made to me against the Captain (by a Captain of another Boat) that he was carrying passengers without having a licensed Engineer on board the first Engineer having quit the boat- In case McCamber cannot be found in Galveston send me a personal description of the man & if in this Country I'll try & find & have him arrested.
