9. Remarks. The percentage of attendance, given above was calculated by different processes. In one school (adult department, M. Street), it would have been 115 per cent by the usual method. It was given by the week, instead, amounting to 93.
The Night School at M Street was discontinued April 5th, in consequence of the inability of the day-school teachers to continue their labors in it. It [[was]] very successful - a large number of adults having learned to read in the course of the term.
