Dear Mrs. Quinton:-
Your letter of the 23rd instant, reached me here recently and yesterday a letter came from my Caretaker at Detroit, notifying me of the reciept of the oil painting "The Red Cow," by Ryder, loaned for your recent exhibition.
I am glad to learn of the success of your exhibition and of course, am pleased to have the little painting back at its home in Detroit.
I have been spending the Summer here, but shall ere long be going to New York, and later to Detroit.
Believe me, with every good wish,
   Sincerely yours,
