My dear Mr. Robinson:-

Your kind letter of the 16th instant is received, and I thank you for having enclosed the list of Whistlers already promised for the forthcoming exhibition. 

Yes, I think it would be advantageous to include "Sarasate" owned by the Carnegie Institute of Pittsburgh. It is a well known picture and would add an additional interesting note to the exhibition.

Mr. Benedict has, in addition to the one I wrote you about, several interesting small pictures, but I am not quite familiar enough with them to write intelligently as to whether or not to include them. We might discuss this matter a little more fully when I have the pleasure of seeing you next in New York. 

I am planning to leave Detroit for New York tomorrow afternoon and if my train is on time, I should reach New York at nine o'clock on Saturday morning, the 19th instant. I shall stop at the Plaza Hotel and after arriving there, I will telephone you and ask for an appointment. My stay in New York shall include only Saturday and Sunday, and any hour
