Your good letter of July 13th and the package containing the eleven photographs made by the Detroit Publishing Co., are recieved. I like the photographs very much and shall send a few of them to Dr. Laufer of the Field Museum, Chicago. I hope the Publishing Co. has kept the negatives so that we can have other proofs printed.
I notice what you say concerning the delay in finishing the changes in my sleeping-room. I fancy it has been troublesome to obtain the proper hardware as it had to be made to special order. The closet, however, seems to me to be unnecessarily delayed owing, of course, to the wrong size being originally sent for. However, we will have to be patient and hope for the finishing ere long.
While I am expecting to return to Detroit before July 25th, it will be only for a stay of about one week, and of course I
