I have for the month of December a less faverable report to offer than I could wish.

Number of garments made and repaired  80
Number of garments distributed  75
Wood, flour, port & rice, in addition to clothing, have also been given in payment for work done in school.

Less work has been done during December than in any month since the commencement of the School in Dec. 1865. Attendance has been less regular, and less inclination to work has been [[strikethrough]] shown [[/strikethrough]] manifested by the freedwomen who have been urged to join the school and learn to cut & make the garments that are to be given in payment for their work, unless they prefer, as they generally do during the
