In many cases the White people seem disposed to act justly towards Freedmen in many other cases the White people seem disposed to take advantage of the Freedmen

EDUCATION.
"Report the feeling upon the subject of education; what steps have been taken to promote the same; what efforts the freed people are making in that direction and in what manner they may be assisted, &c., &c."

Nothing has been done on the subject of education, since last report, owing to the trouble regarding the Building that has been partially repaired by the Freedmen for a School House and Church. it is desirable, that a decision should be made regarding the completion and occupancy, by the Freedmen, of said Building
