Hard, buff-colored paste.
Reddish-brown lustre glaze; crackled.
XI Century (?)
The decorations consist of five women and arabesques reserved in ivory-white.
Width, 8 1/2". Width at fullest point, 8".
Excavated at Karaghan. 

Purchased from T. J. Larkin, London, while on trip during the Summer of 1909, as per Voucher No. 9, July 1909, for - 50., plus pkg., frt., &c. [[checkmark]] 250.00
