Friend Johnson:

Your favor of 12th inst. is received with your note for $15,000.00, dated Feb. 13 at 90 days with interest at 6% per annum, attached to which is Cert. No. 1 for 200 shares of the capital stock of the State Nat. Bank of Logansport as collateral security. In accordance with your request, we have this day forwarded $15,000.00 in N.Y. exchange to the American Exchange Nat. Bank of New York City with the request that same be placed to the credit of the State Nat. Bank, all of which we trust is in accordance with your wishes. 

I am pleased to hear from you such satisfactory news concerning Miss Morden. May she have much success and happiness in her life at Pueblo.
