My dear Wilson:

Your note of the 30th ult. has just reached me on my return from New York. Very much obliged for the information concerning your interview with “Sir George”. Things in New York are still very quiet, and so far as I can judge there is very little prospect of any important contracts being let out for some time to come.
With kindest regards,

Yours very truly,
C.L. Freer
