Mr. Edmund Haug,
Haug & Yorkes, 45 Campan B’d’g,
City.

Dear Sir:

Your letter of May 26 addressed to the Peninsular Car Co. is received. You will probably recall that the Peninsular Car Co. sold its property to the Michigan-Peninsular Car Co. about eighteen months ago and the assets were distributed amongst its stockholders, since which time it has had no existence. The present company however, whenever its Peninsular branch was in operation, has given employment to Frederick Rosen, and after it closed down last fall Mr. Hecker and I did all that we felt we could for Rosen. To date we have paid for his account something over $1100.00 and we do not feel that we can do anything more for him until operations are resumed at the Peninsular Dep’t, when we shall be pleased to set him at work.

Regretting we cannot do anything more for him at present, I remain,

Yours very truly,
CL Freer
