Mr. F. S. Church,
Broadway,
New York City.

Dear Church:

Referring to my talk yesterday by telephone, I hope you can spend next week with me. My plans now are to leave Detroit on Sunday evening the 26th. inst. and go to New York to look after some business matters there, including a trip to Stamford to see my brother Watson.

This trip will take about eleven days, and will bring me back to Detroit the latter part of the first week of September. On the 12th. of September I expect to leave Detroit for New York, and on the 22nd. expect to sail for Italy.

This trip will probably be quite a lengthy one and will include France, India and possibly Japan. It will take the better part of a year, so if you expect to see much of me during the next twelve months, you want to “get a gait on you”.

Say nothing to Miss T. as it might excite her.

Yours very truly,
Freer
