Dec. 17/95.

Mr. Thomas Anderson, (Personal)
M.C.B., P.& W.R’y Co.,
Allegheny, Pa.

My dear Sir:

I am glad to receive your letter of Dec. 14 with copy of your communication to Mr. Hayes. I hope it may do you some good. If Mr. Hayes should write either Col. Hecker or myself, you can depend upon our doing everything in our power to aid you. Mr. Hecker expects to be away until next spring, probably May or June. He is now in India and is having a good time.

The car business is not any too good, prices being very low and the demand not what we had hoped it would be. Glad to know the Hainsworth cars are standing up so well under heavy loads.

Thanking you for your holiday greetings and wishing you in return a very, very Merry Christmas, I remain,

Yours very truly,
Charles L Freer
