Dec. 30, 1893.

Mr. J.K. Bole,
Wade Building,
Cleveland, O.

My dear Sir:

Your complimentary pass for ‘94 over the Valley R’y is received. Accept my thanks, and I hope to have the pleasure of going over your line some time during the coming season.

The severance finally of your old connection with the Otis Steel Co. is I presume calculated to make life more attractive to you. I heartily sympathize with the conditions which led to your resignation, and I hope that life will not only be more attractive but the results thereof be more material to you in future.

With personal regards, I remain,

Yours very truly,
C.L. Freer
