10. Number of pupils (estimated) who would attend such Schools?
From 40 to 100 at each.

11. Amount which would probably be raised by the Freedmen, for school purposes, in each destitute neighborhood?  It is impossible to make any exact estimate, or even a correct approximation certainly but a small amount can be relied on 

12. What efforts are you making to secure the support of schools by pupils, parents, boards of education, or the State government?  As yet I have reported the point where schools could be established , only.

13. Whole number of additional School-houses, for Freedmen, now wanted in your Sub-District?  At least five -

14. Could you organize your Sub-District into School Districts, each with a School Committee pledged to carry on schools therein?  Not at present.

15. To what extent would help from without be needed in such cases?  Rent of school house and a part of teachers salary

16. What is the public sentiment as to the education of the Freedmen and Poor Whites?  Generally indifferent, a small number of the more prominent citizens are apparently favorable to the enterprise but will not take the initiative in organizing & establishing schools, The lower Classes are opposed to these schools

17. Are Night-Schools for Adults needed in your District?  No*
In what way could they be carried on? *At this season, the freed people are busy gathering crops and but a small number would attend such schools if established, 

18. What more can this Bureau do for educating the children of Refugees (or Poor Whites)?  Build school houses, and provide competent teachers, 

19. How long will Northern charitable aid be needed for Freedmen and Refugee Schools of your District?  Indefinately, but certainly until free schools are established and supported by the State.
