2, 3, & 4, while the afternoon schools have had sessions No 5. from 4 to 5 P.M. and No 6, from 2 to 5 o'clock. These are afternoon schools by necessity not choice, as we are using the four churches and have obtained no other accommodations.

The schools have suffered much from the illness of some of the teachers, for a few days as many as five teachers being confined to their rooms, while for a large part of the month we have lost the services of two teachers.

we have now here eleven teachers one of whom is a resident of the city, a Southerner by birth, Miss Kidd - the others from the Northern states - [[strikethrough]] three [[/strikethrough]] two from Illinois, one fm. Wisconsin, one from Michigan, four from Ohio (Western Reserve) two from New York (Central), our Matron from Illinois and I from Connecticut. Should I include the the teachers of the Milledgeville school, Misses Sands & Durand, Maine would claim one teacher & I must give another to Ohio. One Missionary Miss Ayers was from Massachusetts - she has left us temporarily. These eight states have been represented in the work here, and I am sure we cannot advise
