Your letter came today, a testimonial to my being infamous,or , to the ingenity [[ingenuity]] of the post office in [[strikethrough]] including [[/strikethrough]] getting it to me.

Never got to Wennesland. In the meantime, my agents were talking to me and I made a committment [[commitment]] to finish the book my end by. Decl, and Albright's introduction by the 15th.

I don't know Keith's birthdate- I you or I can't turn it up, it proably [[probably]] is a part of his record at Syracuse, don't you think. Wennesland seems to be a very compassionate human being. He lives in three houses side by side on [[strikethrough]] Porero [[/strikethrough]] Portero Hill, mostly filled with art from his collection, although he gave half of it,including Keith's two of his finest paintings.
Dr. Reidar Wennesland, 539 Wisconsin 94107. Phone (415) 829-8379.

Tom Albright,4116 [[strikethrough]] Emeral [[strikethrough]] Emerald, Oakland. Phone (415)428-0476. Wally Berman might be a help. Pat Jordan's pix of Keith was taken in his Semina Gallery. If you write, tell him you are in correspondence with me.

Wallace Berman, 1810 Artique, Topanga,Ca. 94280. Near Los Angeles. phone (213) 455-221.

When you talk of my photographs are they some I sent you,or, has Gotham show opened already? Last I heard it was to open Nov.21.

In closing, am enclosing a poem by a friend of mine, you may either love or hate. It appeared in first issue of Genesis West. The poetry by Jack Gilbert. The publisher is now literary editor of Esquire-Gordon Lish.
