Col. I have the Honor to inform you that all the Troops in this district have been mustered out of service. We have not a man to act as guard, orderly, or to execute orders for arrest_ A Summons cannot be served, nor the attendance of parties at our Courts be compelled without men. There are (17) Seventeen different offices in the district, at each of which it is important to have two or three soldiers. I would respectfully apply for a sufficient detail of enlisted men to supply this demand
