I have the honor to call your attention to the following statement viz:

"Philip Woodson - states that his mother Sally Woodson, took Jack Woodson her son, about 10 years of age, to Mr. William Gaze's living in Fluvanna County, sometime last fall, and left him with the understanding that he was to remain there until Christmas - Mr. Gaze was absent at the time the boy was left, but Mrs. Gaze was at home - Mr. Gaze would not let the boy go at Christmas, and he ran away - Lieut E.G. Budd, Asst. Supt, gave
