States that the rations, issued to the sick in Quarters in this vicinity are unsuited to their wants Bureau R. F and A L Hd Qrs 5th Dist Va Fort Monroe Aug 28 66 Respectfully forwarded Approved. The present season is a sickly one - large numbers are rationed on Surgeon's certificate of disability to work & the [[?]] measures to relieve the wants of such is I think highly commendable S C Armstrong Supt 5th Dist Va E.B. 2d vol P.26.
