Sir:
There are at Petersburg Va. two old colored persons a man and wife of the name of Turner, I am desirous of employing.  They are poor and unemployed they are natives of this state.  They are anxious to return to it but have no means to pay for transportation. Will you be so kind as to furnish transportation for them and their effects to the Superintendent of the Bureau at Petersburg so that
