Your Petitioner Harriet H. Hudgins would represent that she is the widow of Robert Hudgins who died in the month of March 1860. seized & possessed of a large tract of land lying in the County of Elizabeth City. that at the December term 1860 of the county court of Elizabeth City County said tract of land was divided among your petitioner and the heirs at law of the said Robert Hudgins dec'd viz Benjamin F. Hudgins. Selena Hudgins. Annie Hudgins. and Robert. S. Hudgins. that Selena Hudgins since intermarried with Sydney S. Nicholas, and you have restored to him his other portion of said land: that Annie Hudgins intermarried with Ro. W. Drewry. and they sold their interest to one Davis. who has also an order for the restoration of said part. that the interest of Benjamin F. and Ro. S. Hudgins had been libelled for confiscation, but said libel has been dismissed. Your petitioner would represent that the said Benjamin F. Hudgins and Ro. S. Hudgins her children have forwarded applications for the restoration of their respective interests, and now your petitioner would most respectfully and earnestly ask that her portion may be returned to her, containing about three Hundred acres and known as "Lamington". Your petitioner would represent that no proceedings whatever have been instituted against her interest. and all the libels filed against any of the parties interested in the estate of Ro. Hudgins decd have been dismissed. Your petitioner would represent that she has taken and subscribed the oath prescribed by the Proclamation of His Excellency President Johnson and that she has kept the same in good faith. Your
