I am informed that the clothing has all been sold, and the man Ferris is not worth a dollar. He is away at present but will be here to-morrow. I am at a loss how to proceed, but will do the best I can. I wish that I could get orders to arrest him, or to commence proceedings against him for embezzlement or something of the kind.
