Mr. Edward E. Patch,
M'gr, Hotel Manhattan, New York.

Dear Sir:

Absence from home has prevented earlier reply to your courteous letter of the 6th inst. I beg now to acknowledge same and also the receipt of the very interesting book of your hotel. I have been patronizing the Waldorf of late, but should I make a change, I should be very glad indeed to at least give your hotel a trial.

Yours truly,
Charles L. Freer
