Dec. 5/96.

Mr. W. M. Wilson,
1411-1413 Fisher Building,
Chicago, Ill.

My dear Wilson:

I have your letter of 2nd inst. and note what you say concerning side sills. Don’t bother with five cars, make it simply one, which will answer all practical purposes. - - Have written Mr. Clark to-day in regard to Union Pacific matters.

To-morrow morning I leave for New York and shall be at the Waldorf Hotel during next week. Have had two letters recently from Mr. Winter, but as he said nothing regarding the 250 cars, I fancy that for the present the matter is hung up.

Yours very truly,
Charles L. Freer
