September 21st, 1898.
Mr. Edward S. Hull, Jr.,
31 Nassau Street, New York City.
My dear Mr. Hull:-
I have yours of nineteenth instant and note same fully.
I think you decided the matter very wisely as I firmly believe the same sum of money, namely, eight hundred dollars, could not have been realized from this lot of prints in any other direction.
Enclosed herewith you will find draft on New York payable to your order for eight hundred dollars in settlement of account to date.
I note your remarks concerning the pottery and hope to have a chance to examine it when next in your city. Whenever the Penolloso kakemonos are released, please send them along, and oblige,
Yours very truly,
Charles L Freer
