Dear Sir:-

Your favor of 27th instant is at hand and noted. Let me thank you for your very prompt attention to the settlement. This morning's mail brings me a check from Mrs. Wilson for $10.177.63 in payment of advances made by me for account of the Estate of W. M. Wilson, also money loaned to Mrs. Wilson, as per statements rendered, both of which please find enclosed herewith properly receipted.

Permit me the pleasure of again thanking you for courtesies extended during my recent trip to Chicago.
