Stanford White Esq.,
160 Fifth Avenue, New York City.

Dear Stanford:-

Your message of yesterday did not reach me until this morning and I at once wired you stating that the cost of the medallion was entirely satisfactory and that I would send you size of mantel to-day. Please find sketch thereof enclosed herewith.

The Club is anxious to have the little testimonial to its heroic members as charming as possible, and I am sure, now that you have kindly undertaken the matter, that it will be a great success. I shall be in New York on Friday and hope to have the pleasure of seeing you for at least a few moments. I am to sail on the morning of the sixth.

Yours ever,
Charles L Freer
