Gentlemen:-

I am in receipt of your favor of the 23rd instant addressed to Mr. Freer in New York, which has been forwarded here, advising that it has been deemed advisable to close the American Car and Foundry Trading Pool.  I enclose Mr. Freer's check for $39.11 in payment of balance due on Mr. Freer's subscription to the above pool.  At your early convenience kindly forward the 11 shares common and 108 shares preferred stock accruing to him.
