Mr. George G. Barrett,
#65 Quinby Ave.,
Cleveland, Ohio.

My dear Sir:-
I have your favor of January 31st., enclosing post office order for $7.00 which pays the interest from September 25th, 1899 to January 25th, 1900 on your note for $350.00, due February 1st, 1900. Please accept my thanks for same.

I note that you wish me to extend the time for payment until July 1st, next. This extension will be entirely satisfactory to me, but I would like you to arrange to pay the note at its maturity.

Will you, therefore, be kind enough to forward me a new note for $350.00 dated January 25th, 1900, due July 1st, 1900, bearing interest at 6%.

Yours truly,
Charles L. Freer
