Mr. Edward S. Hull, Jr.,
#32 Broadway,
New York, N.Y.

My dear Mr. Hull:-
Yours of the 13th inst. is received and fully noted. I regret that you have found it necessary to dispose of the prints mentioned, but this being the case, I will gladly comply with your desire to have me examine the same with the view of a possible purchase of the lot. If you forward them to me by express, addressed to my residence here, #33 Ferry Avenue, I will be glad to look them over, and will give you prompt decision as to whether or not I can add them to my little group.
By the way, what became of the books which were left over after I made my selection, and was the pair of screens by Matehei sent back to Japan?
With best regards,
Yours very truly,
Charles L. Freer
