Mr. Howard Mansfield,
21 West 36th Street,
New York City.

The bowl is a beautiful specimen of the early Seto ware, and I am delighted indeed to have it as a souvenir of the recent visit of yourself and Mrs. Mansfield to the land of its birth. With holiday greetings to yourself and Mrs. Mansfield, I am

Yours very truly,
Charles L. Freer

P.S.: Pardon, please, this typewritten letter.
