My dear Mr. Edwards:-
Following our conversation over the telephone this afternoon, relative to a recent remittance of $10,000.00 U.S. Currency, sent by your office by cable for Mr Freer, - payable to Sesouke Yue, 700 Burkill Road, Shanghai, China. - I took the matter up with Mr Freer, and gave him your suggestion for a cable to be sent now to Mr Yue.
Mr Freer was delighted with your suggestion, and also with your offer to send the cable for him, which he accepts, knowing your greater cable facilities.
Therefore I am writing you to ask if you will kindly have the following cablegram sent for Mr Freer.

Asia Banking Corporation Shanghai, have ten thousand, your credit, from me, since August thirtieth. Do you want another ten thousand?
