I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your communication of the 27" inst, transmitting papers in the claim for bounty, of the following named men: 

Ballard Copeland, late Pvt. Co. "D" 1st Rgt. U.S.C.C.
John H. Clark, late Pvt. Co. "B" 2" Rgt. U.S.C.L.A.

also papers in the claim of Chloe Ann Spruel, for arrears of pay and bounty on account of her deceased husband Stephen Spruel, late Private Co. "H" 36" Regiment U.S. Colonel Troops.
