Germantown

Dear Friend,

Our Supt of Schools in N. Carolina & Danville Va. has asked me to suggest the thee a delay of any action at Danville Va. that may dispossess him & his corps of teachers at that place of the house now occupied by them as a boarding & Mission House for our teachers.

His fear is from the fact that Wilcox of the Bureau there is to go; and one - Corse to take his place. The latter, Dixon thinks, for some reason, wants the house. We have spent much on it; and I wd be obliged if the matter were held in check, till I arrive in Washington this week or next.

Respectfully
Yardley Warner
