I have the honor to report in compliance with instructions received in Circular No. 2, from your Head Quarters, dated Jan 26th 1867 the following cases of Deaf, Dumb and Blind Negroes residing in this Sub. Dist. comprising the counties of Montgomery, Pulaski and Giles, 8th Dist. Dept. of the Potomac.
1st reported Feb 4th - Alexander Diarly, living with Mr. Wm C Diarly, Big Springs Depot, Mont'y Co. Va - At present in comfortable circumstances - He is 30 years of age - Is Deaf and Dumb - and is by occupation a Farm Hand. 
2nd reported Feb. 5th, Joseph Barnett living with Mr John D Barnett Big Springs Depot Mont'y Co. Va - Mr Barnett States that he is not worth his Board and Clothing, and is anxious to be relieved of the care of him - He is 45 years of age - Is Deaf, Dumb and Idiotic - and by occupation a Farm Hand.
