General:
In accordance with instructions from Hd Qrs Asst. Commissioner, Bureau R.F. and A.L. State of Va, to discharge four clerks, ten laborers, one watchman, and one carpenter, and to report immediately the names of those to be thus discharged, I have the honor to make the following report, viz.

Clerks.  Rufus S. Jones.  Telegraphic permission given to retain him three months from Sept. 3d 1867.

resigned 10 Sept  Eli Veazie, = Employed in Office A.S.A.C. 1st Division.

Lemuel Van Boskorch = Employed in Office A.S.A.C. 3d Division.

Michael Higgins =  Employed in Office A.S.A.C. 7th Division.
