A warrant was immediately issued by Justice Hancock, for the arrest of Miss Mc Fortune and her Brother, but owing to the illness of Miss Mc Fortune the case was postponed, and on Thursday last the case was resumed before Justice Gentry and was dismissed

Wm. H Johnson col'd some time ago, handed Mr. Swartz of Manchester $45 for the purpose of purchasing a "Horse", several months having elapsed,
