States that he has learned, that Wm. Ward and his wife "Charity" have left here, to appeal to the Bureau to obtain possession of the daughter of "Charity" whom they say is unlawfully held by him. Requests that before any decision is made the case may be investigated before some officer of the Bureau, or if the case is to be settled at Hd Qrs, hopes he may be allowed an opportunity to show both sides of the case &c.
